Anti-Embolism Knee Stockings
Clinical Graduated Compression for DVT Prevention & Bedridden Care
The Vissco Anti-Embolism Knee Stockings are specialized medical garments designed for patients with limited mobility. By providing graduated compression from the ankle upwards (distal to proximal), these stockings effectively prevent the pooling of blood in the lower extremities. This is critical for ICU patients, bedridden individuals, and post-operative recovery to mitigate the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) and Chronic Venous Insufficiency.
Lower Inspection Hole
Features a specialized inspection port at the toes, allowing medical staff to monitor circulation and skin color without removing the stocking.
Graded Compression
Engineered with a scientific pressure gradient that is highest at the ankle, facilitating efficient blood flow back to the heart.
DVT Protection
Specifically designed to prevent reverse blood flow and thrombus formation in patients undergoing prolonged immobilization.
Easy Application
Includes a friction-reducing applicator to help glide the medical-grade fabric over the foot and ankle with minimal effort.

Application & Care Guide
For Maximum Benefit:
1. The Applicator: Place the included silk-feel applicator over the foot first to reduce friction.
2. The Inversion: Reach inside the stocking, grab the heel, and turn the stocking inside out up to the heel.
3. The Alignment: Slide your foot in until the heel portion fits your heel perfectly.
4. The Pull: Gradually pull the stocking up the leg. Ensure there are no creases or wrinkles, as these can cause uneven pressure and skin breakdown.
Medical Note: These stockings are designed specifically for non-ambulatory patients (those who are staying in bed). Consult a physician for use-time during recovery from Chronic Venous Insufficiency.
