When should I use the extra horizontal strap?
The horizontal strap is used when the shoulder joint needs to be completely immobilized (preventing the arm from swinging outward). For simpler wrist or elbow injuries, you may use the sling without this strap to allow for more natural torso movement.
Can the child put this on themselves?
The simple buckle and Velcro® system is designed for easy adjustment, but for children, we recommend adult assistance to ensure the height is set correctly to keep the arm at a 90-degree angle for optimal healing.
Is the material breathable enough for summer?
Yes. While the velour is soft and padded for comfort, it is a technical medical fabric designed to allow air circulation, preventing excessive heat buildup during the recovery period.
