Dynamic Gait Support. Discreet Drop-Foot Correction.
The Prim Textile Drop Foot Orthosis is a premium medical solution designed to restore natural movement for those suffering from flaccid palsy or neurological drop foot. This discreet, soft-fabric alternative to rigid plastic braces consists of a supra-malleolar ankle strap and a high-tension elastic traction system. It provides the essential dorsal flexion needed during the "swing" phase of walking while remaining flexible during the "stance" phase. Engineered for all-day comfort, it features an inner gel pad for Achilles protection and a padded instep to prevent friction.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can this be worn on either foot?
No, this product is side-specific to ensure an anatomical fit. Please select "Left" or "Right" from the dropdown menu before adding to your cart.
How does it differ from a hard plastic AFO?
Traditional AFOs are rigid and bulky. This textile version is flexible and virtually invisible under clothing. It allows for natural foot movement during the stance phase while only providing lift when the foot leaves the ground.
What type of shoes do I need?
The ATX01 standard system requires laced shoes. The central anchorage hook fixes between the tongue and the laces to provide the leverage needed to lift the foot.
Is the lifting tension adjustable?
Yes. The elastic traction strap is fully adjustable. You can tighten it for a stronger pull (major flexion) or loosen it for more subtle support depending on your condition.
Will it irritate my skin or Achilles tendon?
No. The brace is designed with an internal gel pad for the Achilles tendon and a padded instep area to prevent friction, rubbing, or uncomfortable compression during extended use.
